Interior Process

Where it Starts

All of our interior projects require extensive surface preparation prior to applying a single drop of paint.

Step one of our process is to move all of the furniture/large items to the center of the room. A tidy environment free of obstacles is vital to your project’s success.

Preparation

Step two is covering of all unpainted surfaces with plastic, flooring paper or tarps

Step three is to move any pictures/decorations on your walls. We take pictures prior to starting so that we are able to return wall decor to their correct positioning. after your room has been painted.

Step four, we will remove all outlet covers (phone, electrical, cable etc). How many times have you moved into a house where the existing paint has been hastily applied around (or just painted over ) outlet covers?

Repairs before painting

During step five our crew will repair and fix all of your wall or ceiling’s issues. We fill all nail head holes from pictures, retape all drywall tape on the ceiling

Step six is the crew will sand down your repairs, and spot prime over any repairs. This is a VITAL step that needs to be taken. If you don’t take this step, you WILL be able to see every area where the repairs took place. Primer serves two purposes, first Primer blocks out the repairs/discoloring from bleeding back through your paint job as well as serving as a bonding agent between your surfaces and the paint. Have you ever had an area of your home where paint chips off?

You, my friend, need a coat of primer.

We're Ready to Paint

Step seven is finally time to get some paint on that ceiling/wall/trim.

Ceilings always come first, then walls and finally trim.

Step eight is time for us to return that wall decor and furniture to their rightful positions.

Another beautifully completed project

Now that we have finished your project it is time to walk your property and make sure that everything that we have done has lived up to your standards. We are of the belief that your project should turn out just as beautiful as it was in your mind when you decided to hire us for the project. Take your time, make sure that all of our lines are straight and that the paint covers as you had hoped it would.

Final step is jobsite cleanup. We will be sure to collect, bag and remove all jobsite debris.
